Troop, Patrol and OA Elections

Each troop will be holding their annual troop elections. If you are interested in a troop level position, please contact your SPL or Scoutmaster to submit your name. All troop level positions are open — senior patrol leader (SPL), assistant senior patrol leader, scribe, historian, quartermaster, chaplain aide, bugler and librarian.  Additionally, each patrol will be electing a new patrol leader and assistant patrol leader.

The patrol leaders’ council (PLC) meets monthly to plan the troop calendar.  The elected youth members determine the monthly focus for each troop. The senior patrol leader, patrol leaders and scribe are all members of the PLC.

Additionally, each troop will be holding their annual Order of the Arrow elections. This honor organization within scouts recognizes the best examples of members who exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. Arrowmen and women are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long term resident camping, and providing cheerful service to others. In order to be considered, a member must have 15 days of camping in the prior two years and be at least First Class rank.
